A Native of New Hampshire, Dr. Brandon Carlucci grew up in the town of Pembroke. He attended and obtained his undergraduate degree from American International College (AIC) with a concentration in physical therapy. He utilized strength and conditioning and physical therapy as a way to decrease his own injury risk and increase performance. While attending college, he became focused on manual therapy techniques such as Active Release Technique (ART) and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and has since attended courses in each. He holds certifications and training in Active Release Technique (ART), IASTM, Functional Movement Screen, Selective Functional Movement Assessment, McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, Applied Movement Neurology, as well as others. Dr. Carlucci stresses the importance of movement, which is not only important for the body from a mechanical and musculoskeletal point of view, but also is a primary function of the brain. So whether he is treating a high level runner or a high level construction worker, the demands on the body are different but no less important. Dr. Carlucci’s mission is to empower the patient and get them back moving as soon as possible. Outside of the office, he owns Rise Above Strength & Fitness, which is a customized online training and nutrition coaching company that maximizes mobility, performance, and body composition.
