Registered Physiotherapist Sherif Darrag enjoys working with a diverse array of patients with varying health goals, using a patient-centred approach and a variety of therapeutic tools to help his patients recover from acute injuries, overcome chronic pain and/ or make improvements in their overall health. Sherif’s skillset includes certification in: Functional Dry Needling, Functional Range Release and Functional Range Conditioning, as well as Fascial Stretch Therapy. In addition to manual therapy and dry needling, exercise constitutes a big part of his rehab/ prehab philosophy. Sherif holds an MSc degree in Exercise Science, has 2 years of previous personal training experience and is currently working towards certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). In his spare time, he enjoys working out, being part of outdoor activities and playing soccer.
Your initial Fascial Stretch Therapy appointment includes a review of your health history and treatment goals, movement screening, and orthopedic assessment. Wear clothes that let you move! Your FST treatment may include myofascial and soft-tissue release, assisted stretching, joint mobilizations, Functional Range Release techniques, and active rehabilitation exercises. Eligible for direct billing as Physiotherapy.
