Katelyn Lloyd B.Kin (Athletic Therapy), CAT(C) Student Massage Therapist Katelyn is an Athletic Therapist and is passionate about helping her clients get back to doing the activities that they love. For her, the most rewarding aspect of her career is seeing people progress through their recovery journey. From working in the MMJHL, to preparing soccer athletes for the Canada Summer Games, to the Winnipeg Sea Bears, Katelyn has worked with a variety of individuals. This includes athletes at the high school, university, and at the professional level. Her experience in working with teams include soccer, hockey, wrestling, basketball, and rugby. Katelyn is also a Sport First Responder - you can often find her covering our field events through our partnerships with WYSA, MODS, and the Wanderers rugby team when she’s not in clinic. Katelyn is a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Kinesiology – Athletic Therapy program. She also provides: • Dry needling • Instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) • Cupping • Neuro-proprioceptive taping Katelyn is currently enrolled at Evolve College of Massage Therapy and looks forward to expanding her skill set as a massage therapist to better help her clients.
