Sherry is a Registered Physiotherapist with over five years of clinical experience helping individuals navigate both musculoskeletal and pelvic health concerns. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Toronto Metropolitan University before earning her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom. With a unique background in both nursing and physiotherapy, Sherry takes a holistic, evidence-informed approach to care. She is passionate about creating a supportive and collaborative treatment experience where patients feel heard, empowered, and confident throughout their recovery. Sherry has completed Medical Acupuncture training through McMaster University, as well as Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Levels 1 and 2 through Pelvic Health Solutions. She has a special interest in women’s health and provides care for individuals experiencing pelvic pain, bladder and bowel concerns, incontinence, prolapse, core and pelvic floor dysfunction, and symptoms associated with menopause. She is also passionate about supporting individuals throughout pregnancy and postpartum recovery, including birth preparation, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and a safe return to exercise and daily activities. Sherry’s treatment approach is individualized and may incorporate manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, acupuncture and electroacupuncture, cupping, taping, and education to help patients achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life. Fluent in both English and Persian, Sherry is committed to ongoing professional development and continues to pursue advanced training in pelvic health and women’s health physiotherapy to provide the highest quality care to her patients.
