Deena is a graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC. While at school she worked with a wide variety of clients and found that by incorporating therapeutic techniques with a focus on relaxation and breath-work she was able to nurture, support and empower clients to reach their goals. Deena sees massage as an opportunity for the mind to slow down and for clients to become grounded and aware of the innate power of the body to seek equilibrium. Deena is exuberant and enjoys being with family, friends and connecting with nature, especially at sunrise. When not at MA Yoga, she spends time with her dog, walking the beaches, kayaking, hiking, traveling and exploring. She is a life-long learner, loves a good book and is fascinated by neuroscience podcasts.
