Roma Paliga graduated with a Master of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa in 2014. To blend her practice with the deeply therapeutic benefits of yoga she went on to study Medical Therapeutic Yoga (MTY) in North Carolina. Roma combines her skills as a physiotherapist with evidence-based MTY to provide hands-on treatment and a home wellness program personalized to each client’s individual needs. Her direct treatment techniques are dry needling, manual therapy, soft tissue release and Graston. Home programs can include asana (physical postures), therapeutic exercise, breathing techniques and meditation. This sustainable approach allows clients to take charge of their own health and helps to prevent reoccurring injuries. Roma is thrilled to offer Medical Therapeutic Yoga classes to guide clients in their practice. With additional pelvic floor training and an interest in women’s health she also offers MTY classes specific to prenatal women. Having treated common musculoskeletal, sports and back injuries to orthopaedic trauma, her experience spans both the public and private settings. Roma is grateful to practice what she loves and be a part of the wonderful Integrate team!
