Pamela (Chaika) Frias, PT is a Registered Physiotherapist with over six years of hospital-based experience, specializing in musculoskeletal care. She treats a wide range of conditions including back pain, sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries, joint and tendon disorders, postural concerns, and post-surgical rehabilitation. With post-graduate training in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS), dry needling, and shockwave therapy, Chaika takes a thorough, education-focused approach to care. She believes in helping patients understand what’s happening in their body and why their treatment plan will work—so they can feel confident, supported, and actively involved in their recovery. Originally from the Philippines, Chaika recently made the move to Kelowna to pursue her goal of working abroad and growing both personally and professionally. She was drawn to the community’s strong focus on health, wellness, and connection—values that closely align with her own approach to care. Known for her thoughtful and attentive nature, Chaika takes the time to truly listen and tailor each treatment to the individual. Her goal is to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and build the confidence to return to the activities they enjoy. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find her exploring local cafés, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with family and friends—simple moments that help her stay grounded and inspired. Initial Physiotherapy Assessment - 45 min

During your 45-minute initial physiotherapy appointment, your therapist will complete a detailed assessment to understand the cause of your pain or movement concerns. This includes a conversation about your health history and goals, a physical exam, and a review of any contributing factors. You’ll also receive an individualized treatment plan and guidance on next steps to help you move, heal, and feel your best.
