Tracie is a Certified Athletic Therapist with a Post-Bachelor’s Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University who currently works with the Sherwood Park Crusaders in both on-field and clinical settings. She also holds a Kinesiology degree from the University of Alberta and Red Deer College, where she spent three years playing college hockey. Her own experiences with sports injuries inspired her to pursue a career in athletic therapy, with the goal of helping others prevent and manage their own. Since graduating, Tracie has worked with athletes across a variety of sports including hockey, soccer, rugby, basketball, volleyball, and football. However, she believes that everyone is an athlete in their own way. Whether your goal is to return to sport, spend more time gardening, or pick up your grandchild with ease, Tracie is passionate about helping you reach your functional goals. In the clinic, Tracie focuses on injury prevention and rehabilitation using a personalized approach that includes education, manual therapy, and goal-specific exercise programs. She takes a whole-body perspective, addressing surrounding joints and contributing factors to help prevent re-injury and support long-term health.
