Maegan graduated from the 3,000 hour program at the Vancouver West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2005 and she moved to Victoria in 2015. She has a broad skill set including Visceral (organ) Manipulation, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Fascial and Myofascial Therapy and Joint Mobilization. Maegan is particularly passionate about Visceral Manipulation and scar tissue treatment. Maegan does not use oil or do full body massage. Organ restrictions and adhesions can contribute to, or be the cause of, musculoskeletal pain. This type of limitation can restrict range of motion, and can cause issues with the organs functions. Maegan uses her training to release adhesions and therefore aide the body to return to balance. Maegan has many years of experience and training with breast and top surgeries, abdominal surgeries, and joint replacement. As well, internal scar tissue from car accidents, head injuries, digestive disorders and pregnancy. Her scar tissue treatment uses a combination of Fascial Therapy, movement and Visceral Manipulation. These treatments can help decrease pain, itching, pulling and restrictions in ranges of motion.
