Mariko is a dedicated health professional originally from Port Moody, BC, proudly embracing her Italian and Chinese heritage. Since graduating as a Kinesiologist from Simon Fraser University, she has combined her passion for sport and rehabilitation to help others regain their strength and mobility. Driven to deepen her expertise, Mariko completed her Master’s of Physiotherapy in Sydney, Australia, where she also gained valuable experience working as a physiotherapist. She passionately believes that the best care combines her knowledge of injury and rehabilitation with her patients knowledge of their own body. Outside of work, Mariko enjoys playing women’s club soccer, relaxing at the piano, spending quality time with family and friends, and searching for a Vancouver beach that rivals an Australian one.
