Maria graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. She left a career in software engineering to pursue her passions for supporting others with pain management and rehabilitation, and she values being able to create a relaxing and inclusive environment for her clients. She believes in the importance of patient-centered care, and in taking the time to understand the unique needs of every person. Maria has experience with Swedish massage techniques, myofascial release, and neuromuscular techniques. She has helped clients with TMJ disorders, thoracic outlet syndrome, movement restrictions post-surgery, and many other conditions. She builds every treatment around the specific needs of her clients, to support them in their short and long-term goals.
