Meet Melody Melody Ry, OMP, MSAOM, Dipl. OM, Acupuncture, Nutrition & Herbs, Bodywork is a Chinese medicine practitioner who earned her Master’s at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts under revered teachers such as Jeffrey Yuen. She practices esoteric medicine while staying rooted in practical techniques and keeps the big picture of your health in focus. When working with her, you can expect to approach your condition from a root-cause perspective while simultaneously gaining relief/progress/changes symptomatically. With her background in functional nutrition, you can also expect to talk about food both for support/education AND just for funsies! She also has a background in teaching Qi Gong, getting certified in advanced Qi Gong techniques by Yoga Farm of Ithaca under teacher Bryan Isacks. She uses this training to help patients gain a deeper understanding of functional movement in their bodies to help reduce pain, regulate their nervous systems, and support their mental health. Her favorite thing to do at work is debunk wellness trends that are floating around Instagram and TikTok. Her favorite things to do outside of work include walking in nature, anything to do with food, playing video games, and being around her loved ones.
