Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, rhythmic therapy designed to stimulate the body’s natural detoxification process and support a healthy immune system. Unlike traditional deep tissue massage, this treatment uses light, precise, wave-like movements that follow the direction of lymph flow to encourage the removal of excess fluid, toxins, and waste from the body. During your session, you’ll relax comfortably while your therapist performs slow, intentional strokes and soft pumping techniques across targeted areas of the body. The pressure is very light—just enough to stretch the skin and activate the lymphatic vessels—creating a deeply calming and soothing experience. Many clients describe the sensation as subtle, rhythmic, and profoundly relaxing. This treatment can help reduce swelling and water retention, support post-surgical recovery, decrease inflammation, and promote overall wellness. It is also beneficial for those experiencing sluggish circulation, bloating, fatigue, or immune challenges. Your session is customized to your specific needs, focusing on areas of congestion while supporting full-body balance. You’ll leave feeling lighter, refreshed, and deeply restored from the inside out. The initial session starts with a brief health history intake. This is the time to ask questions about the service as well as set any goals for the session. From there, the future sessions frequency and duration will be decided based on the judgement of your practitioner.
