Registered Massage Therapist Kyla graduated from Langara College in August 2022. Kyla works to create an inclusive and non-judgemental treatment environment, where the patient and therapist can work together to create an effective, collaborative treatment plan. Her approach to massage therapy is simple: she aims to alleviate stress and tension from the body and values meaningful connection with her patients. She recognizes that touch can be a powerful tool in alleviating pain and discomfort, and she values communication and consent as the foundations of treatment. She appreciates and values the supportive role that massage therapy plays in overall health and wellbeing. Kyla uses a range of Swedish techniques, myofascial release, Trigger Point therapy and Joint Mobilizations. She hopes to build a therapeutic alliance with her patients, where they feel safe and supported by their practitioner. When she’s not working, Kyla enjoys cooking, spending time with her cat and listening to live music.
