Kayla is a registered massage therapist in good standing with MTANS since 2021 after practicing as an RMT in her home province of Newfoundland since 2009. Through her years of practice and education, Kayla has gone through a range of experiences from treating soft tissue injuries and chronic pain in a clinical setting to relaxation focused treatments in a spa setting. These days her treatments offer an intuitive approach and a balanced blend of relaxation and therapeutic modalities combined with an awareness of the importance of somatic nervous system regulation. She believes this inclusive and well rounded approach is not only effective but is also necessary for optimal wellness of the body, mind and spirit. Kayla considers herself an eternal student and is continually and enthusiastically expanding her knowledge base. Through her years of study she is also a certified reflexologist, cupping + facial cupping therapist and a menstrual cycle awareness facilitator. She has a passion for women’s wellness and herbalism and is currently studying both with plans to add these offerings for her clients in the future.
