Through a lens of biology, Marina developed a deep appreciation for the resilience and remarkable capabilities of the human body. Both an academic and an athlete, movement has always played a central role in her life. From swimming and skiing to dancing, rugby, skateboarding, and cycling, she has explored a wide range of sports and activities, driven by the satisfaction of mastering new skills, navigating new terrain, and pushing physical limits. With over six years of experience as a swimming instructor, she is confident in educating clients on body mechanics and encourages curiosity when exploring how different bodies move and adapt within different environments. Most recently, Marina worked as a health care assistant supporting clients with spinal cord injuries throughout their rehabilitation journeys. This experience strengthened her hands-on skills and deepened her appreciation for patience, persistence, and thoughtful physical manipulation in therapeutic care. After sustaining a serious injury in her senior year of high school and personally experiencing the benefits of massage therapy, Marina was inspired to pursue this field professionally. Recently certified as a Registered Massage Therapist, Marina is excited to work with members of the community who share a passion for movement and an active lifestyle. She brings empathy, attentiveness, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping clients recover, move better, and reconnect with their bodies.
