Liesl blends Eastern and Western modalities, integrating restorative bodywork with elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine to promote healing, mind-body integration, and a sense of belonging within your own body. She strives to provide myofascial and muscular release in a safe, supportive environment, and seeks to bring awareness to body integrity and a stronger sense of presence in ones physical and spiritual being. The body holds onto hurts, both physical and emotional, in ways we do not fully understand; Liesl believes in massage as a powerful tool for fostering empowerment and promoting positive change in our bodies and minds. For integrative therapeutic massage and pregnancy massage, she personalizes eachsession with a focus on relaxation or treatment goals and incorporates Swedish, myofascial release, deep tissue, acupressure, Aroma Acutouch, lymphatic, and cupping techniques. Liesl is a certified therapist in manual lymphatic drainage (CMLDT) through Klose and uses the Vodder techniques in lymphatic massage to gently move and recirculate lymphatic fluid.
