A deeper session focused on injury treatment or tension release. Incorporating structural bodywork and CTM (Connective Tissue Massage) to decouple any muscles stuck in patterns of tension and dysfunction. This session works to create space for ease and invite a different way of moving through the world.
This relaxation-focused technique includes both superficial and in-depth manipulation of tissues, using compression and stretching to engage with the musculoskeletal and fascial systems, improve overall circulation, and create space around injured or “stuck” areas to facilitate rejuvenation and restoration of vitality.
With elements of Swedish Massage, Myofascial release and Neuromuscular and Craniosacral techniques, this massage will be deeply relaxing and also effective in treating specific injuries and movement restrictions. Off the table Stephanie is happy to share her vast knowledge of exercise and health in general by providing simple exercises or self care tips for those that want that kind of support.
Lymphatic Drainage
In lymphatic massage sessions, Liesl applies the Vodder technique for manual lymphatic drainage (MLD). Lymphatic massage is very gentle and focuses on moving lymphatic fluid, which can build up. Lymphatic massage also offers a gentle, relaxing, and pain-reducing alternate bodywork modality for those who prefer less pressure or cannot tolerate deeper traditional massage.
