Austin is a Registered Physiotherapist and a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with a passion for thoughtful, person-centred care. She received her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University after completing her Graduate Diploma of Applied Health Sciences and an Honours Bachelor of Health Science from Western University. Austin has a special interest in assessing runners and has worked with individuals of all ages and abilities, from varsity athletes and ultra-marathoners to post-stroke care. With clinical experience in orthopedic and musculoskeletal assessment, she works closely with her patients to develop personalized treatment plans that support their unique goals—whether it’s recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or improving everyday mobility. Austin takes a holistic approach to care, listening to what is most important to each patient. She strongly believes in empowering her patients to be active participants in their care, through every stage of recovery. Austin is certified in dry needling and acupuncture and has completed her Level 1 Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT) training. She utilizes a combination of manual therapy, targeted exercises, acupuncture, and education to help improve patients’ quality of life and assist them in reaching their goals. When Austin is not in the clinic, you can find her cycling, skiing, travelling, or reading a good book!
A 60-minute comprehensive assessment of your running mechanics with one of our physiotherapists. We evaluate your running form, stride, movement patterns, strength, and mobility to identify inefficiencies, imbalances, and potential injury risks. Whether you’re new to running or an experienced athlete, the goal is to help you run stronger, safer, and more efficiently. The running assessment will include video analysis and will take place outside.
