Igor was born in Rwanda but moved as a young child to Belgium with his family where he grew up and pursued his education, getting a Masters degree in Physiotherapy. His experience in Belgium included cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, geriatrics, pediatrics, and sports physiotherapy. After immigrating to Canada in 2015, the focus of his practice has been orthopaedics and sports injuries, with a particular expertise in neck/shoulder, low back and knee injuries that he treats with a wide range of manual therapy skills and tailored rehab programs. Before becoming a physiotherapist, Igor played on a semi-pro basketball team and continued competitively following the start of his career. In his spare time, Igor enjoys volunteering for the community and play several sports (basketball, soccer and some Hockey) Igor enjoys learning about different cultures which has led him to learn a few languages. His first language is French, but he is also fluent in English, Dutch, Kinyarwanda, can converse in Arabic, Greek, Romanian and gets by with a couple others.
