Dr. Karen is an accomplished and published Chiropractic Doctor with an additional designation as a Rehabilitation Specialist. She has been a Chiropractor for over 20 years and we are so fortunate to have her join our team to give our clients the best care possible for when they are in pain. She treats patients of all ages from newborn to senior with a special interest in women's health, and really enjoys working with expecting and new moms providing pre & postnatal care support. Dr. Karen is an expert at spinal manipulations but understands that not everyone in comfortable with them. She uses a variety of other methods including Graston Technique, Diversified & Activator Method, Rehabilitation Exercises, Scar Tissue and Soft Tissue work, Kinesio Tapping and Laser Therapy. If you are not familiar with the Activator Method, make sure you ask Karen about this!! It is a great option for clients who are unsure about traditional spinal adjustments. Karen has been the team doctor for races like the Subaru Adventure Challenge and has also served on the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board (CCEB) as an Examiner and is member of the ACL committee. You can find Karen at the clinic Mondays-Fridays and 1-2 Saturdays a month.
An initial visit is for new or returning patients (1+ year). Includes a full assessment, discussion of goals, and personalized care plan. Treatment may be for Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and/or Shockwave Therapy, plus home care and follow-up recommendations. [Kinesio Tape Application +$5]
