Novo Physio and Health
**special interests: running/lifting/performance injuries, TMJ/TMD, postpartum return to performance/c-section recovery** My biggest passion is getting people moving again, and feeling in control of their bodies. Physiotherapy and rehab/strength and conditioning is super important to me, because it can make or break someones pain or injury experience. I work with all different types of levels, ages and abilities, and nothing gives me greater fulfilment than helping people find joy in being active. **I have guided numerous athletes to return to sport, particularly in post op rehab of achilles ruptures, rotator cuff repair, ACL, meniscal, joint replacement, etc. I thoroughly enjoy bridging the gap between rehab and performance and focusing on strength and conditioning.** I completed my Bachelors of Kinesiology at University of the Fraser Valley, and my Master’s in Physiotherapy at UBC. My post graduate training has focused on, orthopaedic manual therapy, strength and conditioning, olympic lifting, biomechanics, TMJ, clinical pilates, women’s health (c-section rehab, pelvic floor) and functional dry needling/IMS. Further university/graduate certificates include Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, and Clinical Physiotherapy - Musculoskeletal Specialization at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. [email protected]
