Savannah is a dedicated physiotherapist originally from Millville, NB. She obtained her Master of Science in Physiotherapy degree from Dalhousie University in 2023 following her completion of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from the University of New Brunswick in 2020. During her Physiotherapy degree, Savannah chose to travel to Alberta and British Columbia for placements to gain valuable experience in how physiotherapy differs across this country. This experience has shaped the way she assesses and treats her clients and allows her to appreciate and implement a holistic, person-centered, and individualized approach to therapy. As a physiotherapist, Savannah values an active treatment approach while providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere for her clients. She values and appreciates the importance of educating individuals in the context of their injury so that they have the tools to be fully engaged in their rehabilitation. Savannah believes that creating an environment with the client that is both empowering and collaborative is key to successful rehabilitation. Savannah enjoys treating a variety of orthopaedic and sport-related conditions, and has a special interest in treating individuals with neurological illness or injury as well as concussions. Savannah has additional training in concussion rehabilitation, treatment of adults with neurological injury/illness, vision rehabilitation in neurological populations, as well as mentorship with prosthetic training. When not at Rehab1, Savannah works full-time at The Moncton Hospital. In her spare time, Savannah enjoys furthering her knowledge and skills in physiotherapy assessment and treatment of various populations, as well as spending time with her rescue dog, running, strength training, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Savannah looks forward to working with you by helping develop an empowered and individualized approach to your rehab and working toward your goals!
