Michelle is an Australian-trained physiotherapist with nearly 10 years of experience across sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, geriatric care, occupational health and ergonomics, and pre- and post-natal care. Originally from North Burnaby, Michelle spent much of her career in Australia before returning home with a passion for building a stronger, more connected local community through movement, rehabilitation, and wellness. She holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from UBC and a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. Her clinical experience spans injury rehabilitation, chronic pain management, pregnancy-related conditions, post- operative recovery, movement optimization, and falls and balance prevention. Michelle’s Pilates training includes the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI), DMA Clinical Pilates, and Polestar Pilates. She combines these approaches with her physiotherapy expertise to create individualized rehabilitation programs that bridge the gap between recovery and long-term fitness. Beyond clinical care, Michelle has extensive experience in occupational health and ergonomics, supporting workplaces with ergonomic assessments, injury prevention, manual handling strategies, and health and safety initiatives. She also founded a mobile physiotherapy service in Melbourne, providing accessible, personalized rehabilitation to individuals recovering from surgery and older adults facing barriers to accessing community-based care. Outside the clinic, Michelle enjoys hiking with her dog Bella, skiing, snowboarding, travelling, and exploring the outdoors. Since returning to Canada, she is looking forward to reconnecting with kiteboarding, flying, and finding a local netball community. Michelle is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and build confidence in their bodies—whether they are recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition, returning to activity, or simply looking to move well for life.
