I began my professional massage career after graduating from PMTI in 1999, having been a hands-on energy worker since 1987. I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist (Vodder Method,) ICTA Certified Cupping Therapist, and Society For Oncology Massage Preferred Provider. I thrive on variety, so have worked in medical clinics, spas, in private practice, and at sporting and community outreach events. My practice is now accepting new clients only for oncology massage, lymphedema treatment, and manual lymphatic drainage. If you are looking for conventional massage, I'm happy to refer you to a number of skilled and talented LMTs right here in Wimberley. All sessions at Body Insight are tailored to clients' needs and desired outcomes, including modifications for active cancer or a history of cancer treatment. I believe you are the healer in your session. I use innate abilities, ongoing training, and experience to empower others to better understand their bodies. Staying within the massage scope of practice, the focus is on you - it's your session!
The classic hour long massage may include focus on specific areas or be used for general relaxation. It's your session - you can choose, or we can simply thank your body for all it does for you.In this practice, a 60 minute massage is a full 60 minutes of massage time. Please arrive a few minutes early and allow a bit of time after your session so you are not rushed.
