Diane is a Registered Physiotherapist and a graduate of the Master of Science in Physical Therapy Program at the University of Toronto, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. She started out in the finance industry, but a growing love for orthopedics and human movement led her to pursuing physiotherapy. Diane is certified in Active Release Technique (ART): Upper Extremity and Spine, and an acupuncture provider. She builds individualized plan of management consisting of hands-on treatment to relieve symptoms, and guided therapeutic exercise to build resilience. Diane wants to help her patients get back to whatever it is they love doing! She is passionate about educating her patients to better understand their injury, and build a road to recovery. From helping patients take their first steps after trauma, to getting weekend warriors back to hitting their PR’s, Diane has worked with a diverse set of patients, across a wide range of settings Diane is usually coming from, or heading to the gym. She loves tinkering with new recipes at home and exchanging reviews of the city’s countless restaurants. She’s never met a coastline she didn’t like and during her time off she’s always ready for some sun and surf!

This 60 min appointment is for new patients, or for patients who have not received physiotherapy treatment at OCR within the past 9 months. Your initial physiotherapy assessment includes a detailed evaluation with one of our physiotherapists to better understand your injury, symptoms, movement patterns, strength, mobility, and overall function. The assessment is designed to identify the root cause of pain or dysfunction and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals, lifestyle, and activity level. Our physiotherapists treat a wide range of conditions, including: Sports and gym-related injuries Neck and back pain Muscle and joint pain Sprains and strains Tendonitis and overuse injuries Post-surgical rehabilitation Shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle injuries Sciatica and nerve-related symptoms Arthritis and mobility restrictions Balance, stability, and movement concerns Treatment may include hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, mobility and strengthening programs, acupuncture, taping, education, and movement retraining to support recovery and long-term results. Whether you are recovering from an injury, dealing with ongoing pain, or looking to improve movement and performance, our goal is to help you move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities you enjoy.
