Dr. Meg is a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and a classically trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP). She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto and the College of Osteopathy (CEO Toronto/Halifax). Born just outside of Halifax, Meg discovered her passion for the complexity of the human body and her love for holistic approach to healing while attending MSVU to complete her Bachelor’s of Science in biology and nutrition. Meg’s love of learning, curiosity and compassion for her patient’s well being continues to drive her attendance to industry training and self study. Both Naturopathic and Osteopathic medicine see the body as a functioning whole with an innate ability to heal itself. By combining naturopathic and osteopathic principles, Dr. Meg provides well-rounded, holistic care that emphasizes nourishing all aspects of well being through individualized treatment plans that are collaborative, empowering, and compassionate. She provides care and hands-on manual therapy to people of all ages. She values the importance of manual work to help patients reconnect with their body and support their nervous system. Meg specifically focuses on treating menstrual health (specifically PCOS, Endometriosis, PMS), fertility, prenatal/postpartum care, and pediatrics. Dr. Meg is a member of the Saskatchewan Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Nova Scotia Association of Osteopaths (NSAO). Outside of work, Meg enjoys spending time with her partner, appreciates nature through gardening and hiking, practices yoga, and loves cuddling up with a good book and her playful Portuguese water dog, Juniper.
