Maya is thrilled to begin her career in bodywork, having left the education world for the past fifteen years, she seeks a more embodied practice that will empower people to create deeper connections within themselves. Maya provides caring and loving touch blending modalities like Swedish, deep tissue, muscle energy techniques, Craniosacral Therapy, and myofascial release therapy. Her mission is to help people come back into their bodies so that they may move with ease and confidence in the world. Maya’s trauma informed care is connective and grounding. She also seeks clients who are going through the birthing process in order to support the miraculous transformation. Outside of bodywork Maya teaches family dance classes at the Woodstock Community Center. She loves to bring communities together and create safer spaces through movement. Maya is a lifelong dancer and you can catch her out at fusion dance nights. She loves to spend time with her family cooking and jumping on the trampoline.
