Alex completed both her BSc in Human and Cellular Physiology and her Master of Physical Therapy at UBC, combining a strong scientific foundation with hands-on experience in personal training and research in exercise program delivery. She brings her love of movement, research, and the human body into her clinical practice. Her approach is evidence-informed and focused on functional, accessible exercise to help people build strength and resilience, alongside hands-on therapy when indicated to reduce pain and improve function. Alex works with clients of all ages and abilities, from older adults and those living with chronic conditions to athletes and weekend warriors. She has a particular interest in Parkinson’s disease, balance and health promotion for older adults, and supporting runners and swimmers, with additional training in vestibular rehabilitation and running assessment and treatment. Originally from the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Alex now calls Vancouver home. Outside the clinic, she enjoys running, weightlifting, swimming, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her cat, Sully.
