Megan is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated from Western University in 2016 with a Masters of Physical Therapy. Prior to graduate school, she completed her Bachelors of Human Kinetics (Movement Science) at the University of Windsor in 2012. She previously worked in London, Ontario for 4 years in outpatient orthopaedics, with a multidisciplinary team and in collaboration with London spine surgeons, helping patients with both surgical and non-surgical lower back and neck pain. Megan has taken post-graduate courses in orthopaedic manual therapy, acupuncture, concussion and post-concussion syndrome, and rehabilitation of running injuries. She loves learning new things and plans to continue to further her education in these areas. Outside of work, Megan loves to run and has completed 3 half-marathons, numerous 5K and 10K races, and hopes to one day run a full marathon! She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog Ruby. Having actively rehabbed through many injuries herself, she has a deep understanding of what it means to have an injury stop you from doing what you love. Her approach to treatment is always catered to the individual and her goal is to get her patients back to doing the things in their lives that are meaningful to them.
