Allyson is an experienced physiotherapist who has been working at private practices in the Ottawa area for the past 5 years. She has a master’s degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Ottawa. During her master’s degree she discovered the value of lifelong learning and has taken several post-graduate courses with focuses in manual therapy, running, vestibular and concussion related injuries. She has also completed her KinetaCore Functional Dry needling and Acupuncture Canada courses. Allyson understands the importance of getting her patients back to doing the things they love by encouraging them to stay active while recovering from injury. She recognizes that each injury is unique and uses a combination of hands-on-manual therapy, dry needling, rehabilitative exercise and education to support her patients with their recovery goals. When not working, you can find Allyson training for sports such as, triathlon, cross country skiing and canoeing. She also has a great passion for the outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping & walking her dog Bailey. Running Assessment Overview
