Dr. Andrea Sulyok (ND) is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a clinical focus in chronic pain, brain function, and immune health. Before pursuing naturopathic medicine, Andrea studied Biomedical Science & Toxicology at the University of Guelph and worked as a microbiologist, gaining a strong foundation in laboratory science and human health. Andrea completed her Doctor of Naturopathy at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she developed a clinical interest in chronic pain, focusing on the impact of inflammation and nervous system dysregulation. This led to a broader focus on complex, overlapping disorders, including autoimmune, post-infectious, and neurodegenerative processes. She also supports patients experiencing fatigue, chronic stress, and longevity-related concerns. Andrea has a particular interest in the evolving understanding of the brain and its role in chronic pain, including neuroplasticity and pain perception. She has pursued additional training in brain mapping, allowing her to better support patients with persistent, refractory conditions. Her approach is individualized and integrative, prioritizing patient education and empowerment while using targeted strategies to reduce pain amplification and support long-term healing.
