As your bodywork therapist, I'm here to support you in caring for this gift, working as your partner in a wellness journey towards greater freedom, joy, ease of movement, health and vitality - in mind, body, soul, and spirit. I specialize in Biodynamic Massage and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, utilizing resources developed through the study of various lineages of craniosacral therapy, deep tissue, myofascial release, Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, Thai massage, and Zen Shiatsu. My bodywork practice is rooted in my personal meditative practice, where a development of deeper equanimity and presence are the guideposts for working with the unfolding moment as it arises. With that inspiration, our sessions will unfold with a curiosity around what's possible, supporting the nervous system as we explore new ways of unfolding, releasing, relaxing and nourishing your being as we learn to deeply inhabit the present moment together. Biodynamic massage combines the interface of biodynamic craniosacral therapy with the tools of deep tissue and Swedish massage. Sessions begin by warming up the muscle tissues to be worked with, guided by the quiet resources of health present in the body. Each session unfolds uniquely as the body guides the pace, contact, pressure, and presence. Vigorous movement gives way to moments of held quietude, relationship to pain and restriction shifts, and a deeper sense of inner wholeness is contacted.
