Finding the calm in the chaos is more than just a skill for Sheryl- it is a lifestyle. As a Student Massage Therapist, Sheryl is deepening her practice with a dual focus on relaxation and therapeutic massage techniques. Whether your goal is to melt away stress or address specific muscular tension concerns, Sheryl is dedicated to helping you find your center. Sheryl’s journey into bodywork is fuelled by her life at home. As a mother of four active children, she knows first-hand how essential self-care and recovery are for a busy body and mind. When she is away from the clinic, she can be found at a soccer game or cheer competition with her children. If she is absent from all those, you can find her relaxing on the couch watching her favourite shows with her family and her dog, which reminds her of the importance of daily connection and comfort.
Second-year massage therapy students are trained in both relaxation and therapeutic techniques. With a growing focus on assessment and treatment skills, these students are able to address common concerns like muscle tension, postural strain, and overuse injuries. Under the guidance of experienced RMTs, they’ve also gained hands-on experience assisting with real treatment plans. A great option for affordable care while supporting a student’s clinical development. Please note these sessions are NOT BILLABLE to your health benefits carrier at this time.
