Treloar Physiotherapy Clinic
595 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Z 0C4
Kate graduated from Queen’s University in 1990 and has been working as a physiotherapist in Vancouver ever since. She qualified as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists in 1996 and her post-graduate training has been primarily in manual therapy, pain physiology, exercise prescription and cancer rehabilitation. She also teaches at UBC and with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She initially chose this career because of a fascination with the incredible scope of things a human body can accomplish. Now she know we are more than our bodies and continues to be amazed by the multiple influences on our physical abilities. Kate worked at Treloar from 1994-2012 and loved the collaborative community of driven, passionate and nerdy (but also fun) physiotherapists. She's excited to return to this amazing environment as part of a true team. Passionate about providing the best physiotherapy care she can, she now focuses on individuals at any stage of a cancer diagnosis. Kate's passionate about family, health, garden, as well as travel, adventure, and our great community.
