** On Maternity Leave as of February 2025 ** Michele’s love for running is what originally brought her to massage therapy. After years of mileage on her feet and a series of injuries, it was during her recovery that she discovered the restorative benefits of massage therapy and began pursuing a career as an RMT. Encouraging the body to reduce tension while increasing mobility, her treatment style includes combining her assessments into techniques of deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization and active/passive stretching. Michele’s experience includes treating acute and chronic overuse injuries, sports rehabilitation, pre and post-natal massage and discomfort incurred from long hours working at a desk. Her intent is to return your body to a place of balance and she encourages clients to be an active part of the recovery process by providing informative client education and personalized home care. When she’s not at Kaya Wellness Collective, you can find her running the seawall, at the beach enjoying the sun, or hiking the North Shore Mountains.
