####As a former competitive athlete and a mom, Sara has an innate understanding of how important it is that your body be able to move at peak performance both on the field and for whatever life throws at you. Her passion for anatomy and biomechanics led her to complete her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Biology and continue to pursue her Massage Therapy degree and graduate with honours from the College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2018. ####Sara’s treatments are focused yet fluid as she incorporates a variety of Swedish Massage techniques, superficial and deep tissue release, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, stretching and Cupping therapy to personalize your treatment to your unique needs, even from session to session. One of her main goals is to provide you with a comfortable and relaxing environment in which to help you maintain your performance, prevent injuries, and integrate practices that allow your body the space to heal.
Registered Massage Therapy is safe and effective throughout ALL stages of pregnancy. Prenatal massage will help promote a positive connection to your changing body, address and manage areas of imbalance and decrease pain as well as help to improve sleep quality. Early stage prenatal treatments are generally preformed lying facedown, as long as you are comfortable. As you progress, treatments are done in a side-lying position, supported by as many pillows as you need ;)
