Jaime earned her degree in Kinesiology from the University of Toronto and completed her training in Osteopathic Manual Practice at the Southern Ontario College of Osteopathy. She believes in treating the body as an integrated whole and focuses on addressing the root of dysfunction rather than symptoms alone. Her treatments are hands-on, educational, and tailored to help patients understand and participate in their own healing. With a background in women’s health, athletic therapy, and sports medicine, Jaime completed her osteopathic thesis on using cranial and visceral techniques to treat dysmenorrhea. She also enjoys working with children and families; her experience as a swim instructor and as a volunteer at SickKids Hospital led to a growing interest in pediatric osteopathy. Jaime is trained to treat patients of all ages, including newborns and pregnant people. Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with friends and family, being outdoors, staying active through hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing, and creating through music and pottery. Jaime looks forward to meeting you and supporting your health goals with compassionate, evidence-informed care.
Osteopathic manual practitioners gently manipulate parts of the body that are in pain or inflamed to restore balance in your body to help it heal. From discomfort that just won’t go away or a sudden injury that prevents you from participating in the activities you enjoy, manual osteopathy could be an effective approach to relieve your pain and get you moving again! A thorough clinical evaluation in conjunction with the Osteopathic clinical reasoning and palpatory skills, all will help decide the therapeutic strategy for each individual.
