Irvin’s journey in bodywork began early, growing up in a family business rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). After graduating from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, he worked for many years in a clinical setting, specializing in acupuncture. Driven by a deep interest in anatomy and movement, Irvin pursued studies in the performing arts and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from York University. For over a decade, he has worked simultaneously as a professional dancer and a TCM practitioner. This unique combination has given him a deep understanding of the body’s mechanics and movement patterns. His experience treating dancers, athletes, and the general population has equipped him with the ability to work with a wide range of bodies and injuries. To further expand his skills and enhance patient care, Irvin completed a Master’s in Osteopathic Manual Science. He found osteopathy’s principles to be highly effective and closely aligned with his own holistic philosophy of health. Today, he integrates his knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, osteopathy, and movement to offer personalized and comprehensive care - helping patients reach their optimal health and fullest potential.
