Drew completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from Queen’s University. As a physical therapist he has gained experience working in orthopedics for various conditions, acute stroke, and COPD rehabilitation. Before attending Queen’s, he received his Bachelor of Kinesiology with a specialization in Exercise Science from the University of the Fraser Valley. He previously worked as a kinesiologist at Treloar Physiotherapy Clinic, at an orthotics company, as an athletic trainer, and with individuals living with stroke, prior to becoming a physiotherapist. He chose to pursue a career in rehabilitation after personally utilizing physiotherapy for many foot and ankle injuries during his time as a collegiate volleyball player. The skills and knowledge of other physiotherapists intrigued him and made him want to learn how to manage these aches and pains for himself and others. Outside of work Drew enjoys travelling and looking for new places to eat (he says this is because he is not a good cook!) He also likes to golf even though it frustrates him endlessly.
