Vanessa graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and continued her education at Queens’s University graduating in 2010 with a Masters of Physiotherapy. Throughout her career, Vanessa has been actively pursuing education to further advance her skills and optimize patient care. Some of her unique Physiotherapy treatment services include manual therapy, sports injuries, vertigo, TMD (jaw pain/disorders), concussion management and pelvic health. Vanessa is also a Level 2 certified Acupuncturist through the Acupuncture Foundations of Canada Institute. Vanessa has a passion for athletes and has worked extensively with both recreational and professional athletes providing injury diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Vanessa combines her expertise as a Physiotherapist and certified Joga coach to create a unique rehabilitation and strengthening program which has been effective for even her most high performing NHL patients. Dedicated to providing unique care for every patient, Vanessa begins with a detailed assessment followed by a clearly explained diagnosis. Her treatments include hands-on manual therapy, individualized exercise programs and movement/posture retraining. Enhanced skills such as acupuncture, therapeutic taping, cupping and other Physiotherapy modalities are added to the treatment plan as needed.
