MaKenna, originally from Red Deer, Alberta, grew up immersed in sports, especially ringette, competing at an elite level until concussions ended her athletic career. This setback led her to pursue a new path that matched her passion for health and movement. She holds a diploma in Kinesiology Fitness and Health Promotions from Red Deer Polytechnic and is a certified personal trainer with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology. Her studies sparked an interest in rehabilitation, ultimately guiding her to Manual Osteopathy. Inspired by her personal success with craniosacral therapy, MaKenna became certified in craniosacral therapy, osteoarticular manipulation, visceral manipulation, and advanced fascial release. MaKenna now focuses on helping those with sport injuries, accidents, surgeries, and chronic conditions find the relief they need by addressing symptoms at their root.
