Her passion for helping others prompted her to pursue a four-year graduate degree in naturopathic medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Her dedication to providing truly integrative care encouraged her to pursue a Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am passionate about empowering individuals on their unique journeys toward self-acceptance and discovery. Whether you are going through a challenging time or perhaps you just need someone to talk to, I am here to help. As a Naturopathic Doctor, I provide each patient with an individualized and evidence-based treatment plan. My goal is to help empower patients to take an active role in every step of their health journey, and my clinical philosophy is to work with patients as partners to establish treatment plans and health goals as a team. My patient promise is to acknowledge your experiences, support your healing, and help you feel like your true and best self. My clinical focus includes mental health (including stress and burnout), digestive health, skin health, hormone health, metabolic health, and the optimization of overall health and wellness. I utilize IV therapy, nutrient injections, acupuncture, nutraceutical supplementation, lifestyle/dietary modifications, and botanical medicine in naturopathic care. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I take an integrative, client-centred approach to create a supportive space where each session is tailored to your unique needs and personal preferences. I believe in fostering a therapeutic bond built on mutual trust and collaboration. My work as a naturopath has allowed me to recognize the value of taking a holistic approach that addresses the mind, body, and spirit to ensure your unique experiences and needs are at the forefront of our work together. I blend a variety of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, solution-focused, client-centred, emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioural therapy, somatic therapy, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based practices. Melika is registered and in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Melika has received additional training in the naturopathic assessment and treatment of various mental health concerns. In addition, she has formulated nutraceuticals for a leading Canadian health supplement company. Melika offers services in English and Farsi.
