A popular treatment for myofascial restriction. Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization IASTM uses specially designed instruments to provide a mobilizing effect to scar tissue and myofascial adhesions. Cupping During a cupping session, round cups are placed directly on your skin. The cup is manually pumped/squeezed to create a suction and the cups are then left on your skin for several minutes encouraging blood flow.
