Thursday through Sunday Katy integrates a unique combination of movement/yoga therapy, with hands on touch, both massage and manual therapy. Katy earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2006 from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon and received her yoga therapy training through the American Viniyoga Institute. Katy’s dynamic method is reflected in her specialized focus on helping with chronic overuse, sport and work related injuries, balance difficulties and post-surgical rehab recovery. Katy’s approach addresses the root causes of discomfort and limited function. She encompasses a wide understanding of each patient’s nervous and musculoskeletal dysfunctions, especially problems with fatigue, weakness, stiffness and pain. Her devotion to helping others heal extends outside of the clinic as well. Her love for travel and adventure have taken Katy to many far corners of the globe, where she mixes her travel pleasure with volunteer service. In 2011 Katy volunteered her physical therapy services to the Acupuncture Relief Project in Chapagaon, Nepal. In February 2015, she ventured to a rural communities in Honduras where she provided medical care and physical therapy.
