Maysa is an experienced Registered Physiotherapist (RPT) with advanced training in sports medicine, rehabilitation science, and complex musculoskeletal care. With over a decade of global clinical work— including roles with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Doctors Without Borders (MSF)—she brings exceptional expertise in trauma, orthopedic rehabilitation, and performance-focused physiotherapy. Maysa holds master’s degrees from Lund University (Sports Medicine) and McMaster University (Rehabilitation Science), with research in gait biomechanics, falls prevention, and low back pain. She is also a published author in Global Orthopedics. She is certified in Advanced Dry Needling, Strength & Resistance Training, Biomechanics, and Manual Therapy, allowing her to identify root causes of pain and create effective, individualized treatment plans for both active individuals and athletes. Outside the clinic, Maysa enjoys weightlifting, hiking, diving, and other outdoor activities, giving her a deep personal understanding of movement and performance.
