Originally from Newfoundland, Leah has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2019. She began her career with a strong focus on deep tissue and medical-based massage therapy — believing that effective treatment meant applying as much pressure as possible. Since discovering Solluna in 2024, Leah has shifted her approach to care. While she continues to provide therapeutic deep tissue work, her treatments now prioritize working with the brain and body rather than against them. She places a strong emphasis on how massage therapy influences the nervous system, recognizing that long-term change happens when the body feels safe enough to release tension — not forced into it. Leah incorporates a variety of techniques including myofascial release, Graston Technique, and cupping therapy. She is passionate about helping clients understand that deep tissue work can be both effective and comfortable, without relying on excessively painful pressure. Her favourite areas to treat include the neck, shoulders, head, and TMJ-related tension. Leah also enjoys working with prenatal clients and children, tailoring each treatment to the individual needs of her clients. Leah believes that in order to best support others, she must also care for herself. Outside of the treatment room, she prioritizes regular bodywork, time in nature, self-development practices, and weightlifting to maintain her own physical and mental well-being. She works best with clients who are ready to actively participate in their care and develop a greater awareness of how their lifestyle and daily habits influence their overall health.
