Elena Guileva
Pillars of Wellness
100 Plains road west, Burlington, ON, L7T 0A5
Elena’s passion for helping others began long before her professional career. From a young age, she was often the person family and friends turned to for relief from tension, aches, and discomfort — frequently receiving positive feedback for her natural ability to help people feel better. After several years working in Social Work, Elena decided to follow her true calling and pursue a career in Massage Therapy. She graduated from the renowned Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic and has since dedicated her career to providing thoughtful, evidence-informed care focused on each person’s unique needs. Elena believes effective treatment starts with listening. She takes the time to understand each client’s concerns, perform a thorough assessment, and create individualized treatment plans designed to address the root causes of pain and dysfunction — not just the symptoms. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on supporting the body’s natural ability to heal. Throughout her career, Elena has worked with clients experiencing a wide range of conditions, including motor vehicle accident injuries, sports injuries, post-operative recovery, prenatal and postnatal discomfort, chronic pain, scar tissue restrictions, lymphedema, and neurological conditions such as MS. She also offers specialized treatments including manual lymphatic drainage, TMJ-focused therapy, breast massage, oncology-adapted massage, and Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS Therapy) using the Dolphin Neurostim to support pain relief and nervous system regulation. Early in her professional journey, Elena expanded her clinical experience through work connected to the thoracic surgery unit at Toronto General Hospital and the spinal cord rehabilitation program at Lyndhurst Rehabilitation Institute. These experiences helped shape her understanding of complex rehabilitation and whole-person care. Elena is committed to creating a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and cared for. Whether someone is recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or simply looking to improve their overall well-being, she strives to help each person move, feel, and live better with confidence.
