Karen provides adapted physical activity programming for people across a lifespan specializing in various disabilities and chronic conditions, including developing safe exercise programming for individuals living with Osteoporosis (she is BoneFit Certified). Karen is a lifelong equestrian and therapeutic riding instructor. Her passion for coaching individuals with disabilities led her to pursue a degree in Kinesiology, start her own business and to further her education at the master’s and PhD level. Karen has taught several undergraduate level courses on pediatric rehabilitation at Western University. Karen enjoys designing creative and play based exercise sessions for children and youth with disabilities who may experience sensory or physical challenges. She is passionate about helping children and adults build confidence, improve fitness, and participate more fully in the activities that matter to them.
