Candace is a Registered Physiotherapist. As a passionate dancer and former dance instructor for both children and adults, she brings a unique understanding of movement, posture, and biomechanics to her practice. Her clinical focus includes musculoskeletal and neuromuscular rehabilitation, with a special interest in dance related injuries across ballet, hip hop, open style, and heels, as well as running related injuries. She has pursued additional training through Conor Harris Biomechanics + Strength and Conditioning, Pivot Dancer, and The Running Physio to further refine her approach. Candace combines clinical expertise with a creative, individualized approach to care, looking beyond symptoms to address underlying movement patterns. Her treatment style integrates education, exercise therapy, and hands on techniques, including soft tissue therapy, joint mobilizations and manipulations, acupuncture, and dry needling to help clients move better, reduce pain, and build confidence in their bodies. She is committed to building strong therapeutic relationships and supporting clients in achieving their goals safely and effectively, believing that purposeful movement leads to an empowered life in both everyday living and performance.
